Discovery Bay is a 25-minute ferry ride from Hong Kong's Central business district. Ferries depart approximately every 30 minutes from Central Pier 3, with more frequent sailings at peak times. There is also a tunnel that connects Discovery Bay with the north side of Lantau Island. Buses regularly run to and from the airport, Tung Chung bus station and Sunny Bay MTR station.
